FAQ's

1. What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

Direct Primary Care is a healthcare model where patients pay a flat monthly membership fee directly to the provider for health care services. This removes the insurance middleman and allows for more personalized, accessible care.

2. Do you accept health insurance?

No. We do not bill insurance for primary care services. This allows us to spend more time with patients, reduce administrative costs, and keep pricing transparent.

3. Can I still have health insurance?

Yes. It is recommended that patients pair DPC with a high-deductible health plan or catastrophic insurance for emergencies, hospitalizations, and specialty care.

4. What does the monthly membership include?

This depends upon the tier that best works for you or your family. Please see the membership page for details.

Your membership typically includes:

5. Are there any additional fees?

Some services MAY have small additional costs, such as:

Labs, Imaging, Medications or Procedures.

These are offered at discounted, transparent cash prices whenever possible.

6. How much does membership cost?

Membership fees vary by age and care needs. Please contact our office or visit our pricing page for current membership rates.

7. Is there a contract or long-term commitment?

No long-term contracts. Membership is provided in convenient three month commitments, and you can cancel at any time with 30 days notice. Re-instatement charges/fees may apply when deemed necessary.

8.  Can I use my HSA or FSA to pay for DPC?

In many cases, HSA or FSA funds may be used, but eligibility depends on your specific plan. We recommend confirming with your plan administrator.

9. What types of patients do you see?

We care for:

Adults and families with children 10-17

Patients with chronic conditions

Patients seeking preventive and wellness care

Those frustrated with rushed, traditional healthcare visits

10. How long are appointments?

Appointments are typically 30–60 minutes, allowing time to address concerns thoroughly without feeling rushed.

11. Can I get same-day appointments?

Yes. One of the major benefits of DPC is same-day or next-day access for urgent needs. Based upon availability.

12. Do you offer virtual visits or telehealth?

Yes. We offer telehealth visits, secure messaging, and phone consultations when appropriate.

13. What happens if I need a specialist or hospital care?

We coordinate referrals and help you navigate the healthcare system. Insurance (if you have it) is typically used for specialist visits, hospital care, imaging, and procedures.

14. Do you offer urgent care services?

We handle most common urgent issues, including infections, minor injuries, and acute illnesses—often avoiding unnecessary urgent care or ER visits.

15. Are labs and medications included?

Some basic labs may be included, while others are offered at deeply discounted cash rates.

16. Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes. Membership is flexible and can be canceled with 30-day written notice per our policy.
